I Like Music Because heading
  • Master GeeMaster Gee: ilikemusic because... It gives me an opportunity to truly express myself, unlike what happens in an everyday living situation where there are restrictions on you and limitations on you and demands on you and bills to pay, through music I can truly be comfortable with who I am, and do what I really want to do and say what I really want to say.

Zero 7 - Futures / The Garden

The long dark winter is drawing to a close, spring is just around the corner, the sun is once more in the sky and Zero 7, aka Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns, are back with a gorgeous new single on March 13th. Entitled 'Futures', it's the first track to be taken from their stunning third album, The Garden, due for release May 15th.

Written and produced by Zero 7, it features Jose Gonzalez whose honeyed vocal perfectly compliments Zero 7's lush sound. The band's own Henry Binns also makes his first vocal appearance, taking care of backing vocals on the single.

'Futures' is be a limited edition, vinyl only release. The B side of the 7" is a new song called
'Dreaming' with long time Zero 7 cohort Sia Furler on vocals, while the 12" will feature an extended version of a beautiful instrumental track, entitled
'Seeing Things', which is also on the new album.
