Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band release Greatest Hits through Sony Music, available on 8th June 2009. It is fourteen years since Springsteen released his original Greatest Hits, a collection that has since sold over 1 million copies in the UK alone. This new package focuses on his classic work with the E Street Band and features four tracks recorded since that 1995 collection. The album also boasts two bonus tracks (previously only available on Bruce's Live 1975 - 1985' box set) and is released as a Limited Edition CD in Europe exclusively.
As previously announced, Springsteen & The E Street Band will headline this year's Glastonbury Festival on Saturday 27th June. Their only other UK appearances this summer are at Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park (28th June) and Glasgow's Hampden Park (14th July). Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are currently on tour in the US, where sold out shows have enjoyed widespread critical acclaim. Greatest Hits track listing as follows:
