Alistair: ilikemusic because... you can relate to the lyrics and through music you can express your emotions and feelings.After premiering their brand new single, This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race, (out January 29th 2007) at the American Music Awards, multi-platinum, two-time MTV VMA award-winning Mercury Music group artists Fall Out Boy announced their first UK live shows of 2007 - which kicked of fon January 27th. The low key warm up shows are a teaser as to what fans can expect from the full UK tour early Spring.

Their new single "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" - which can be heard streaming online now at www.falloutboyrock.com - is the first single from INFINITY ON HIGH, the long-awaited new album, which will be out on the February 5th. Rapper Jay-Z features on the albums opening track, 'Car Crash'.
INFINITY ON HIGH is the follow-up to From Under The Cork Tree, Fall Out Boy's Mercury debut, which has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide since its release in May 2005. The new album reunites the group with Neal Avron, who produced, recorded and mixed Cork Tree. The new album also finds Fall Out Boy working with megastar hitmaking R&B producer Babyface for the first time.
Formed from Chicago's hardcore scene in 2000, Fall Out Boy built their loyal fanbase online and on tour across the US and abroad. They recently cemented themselves as this year's breakthrough rock act after completing a huge sold out tour at the end of May which included two nights at Brixton Academy, plus main stage performances at this years Reading and Leeds festivals, they also picked up a coveted Kerrang Award at this years bash! Their January warm up shows run as follows: 27th, Bridgend Wales Recreation Centre, 28th Glasgow Garage, 29th London Hammersmith Palais.
