  • Ellen, Los CampesinosEllen, Los Campesinos: ilikemusic because... It’s the best form of escapism that you can have wherever you are. You could be completely miserable or waiting for a bus and put on any song that inspires you and you can escape into a little world, well that’s what I tend to do anyway.

My Chemical Romance - Famous Last Words

My Chemical Romance follow their chart-topping single Welcome To The Black Parade and the 250,000-selling album The Black Parade with the release of Famous Last Words on January 22nd on Reprise.

Produced by Rob Cavallo and My Chemical Romance, Famous Last Words is the anthemic and emotive closing track that proves to be a fitting finale to the ambitious The Black Parade album.

Vocalist Gerard Way commented: "It's very much about redemption and someone making the choice to say 'I wanna live'."

Since its release in October, The Black Parade has sold 1.4-million copies worldwide - almost 700,000 of which were in the US alone.

My Chemical Romance's previous album, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, was released in 2004 and went on to sell over 2-million copies. A loyal and ever-growing fanbase was earned on the back of strong live performances including awe-inspiring sets at the Reading and Leeds festivals and a headline show at the Give It A Name festival.

My Chemical Romance also enjoyed previous chart success with the singles Helena (#17), I'm Not Okay (I Promise) (#19) and The Ghost of You (#21).

My Chemical Romance will play their biggest UK shows to date when they embark upon an arena tour:
