The Automatic - Raoul

Following the release of their superb limited edition debut single Recover, and tours with Hard-Fi, The Ordinary Boys and fellow Welshmen the GLC, teenage four piece The Automatic return with a second single, Raoul.

Like many of The Automatic's songs, Raoul is a route map to escaping mundane, hum drum life, tearing into "the automatic way" while tipping a nod towards the band's local sandwich-making mystic Raoul. With huge melodies married to raucous, bone-tingling punk, Raoul is set to build on Recover's debut success which saw Radio 1 and XFM get firmly behind the band, and a host of tips in start of year polls across the board.

The Automatic have recently finished recording their debut album at Lincolnshire's Chapel Studios. Produced by Steve Harris (U2, Kaiser Chiefs), the album is due for an early summer release. The band are currently on tour with The Kooks and will be tearing it up on their first UK headline tour in February and March. The band are also confirmed to play an NME Awards show at London's Astoria on 19th February and will be supporting labelmates, the Kaiser Chiefs at Alexandra Palace in April.
