The Killers - Don't Shoot Me Santa

The Killers have recorded a second Christmas single for the RED Campaign, Don't Shoot Me Santa, was released on December 1st. It follows up last year's A Great Big Sled, which raised over $100,000 for the charity.

All of the proceeds from this song will go to AIDS charities as part of Bono's RED campaign, part of The Global Fund.

The Global Fund was created to finance a dramatic turn-around in the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. These diseases kill over 6 million people each year, and the numbers are growing. To date, the Global Fund has committed US$ 10 billion in 136 countries to support aggressive interventions against all three diseases.

The Killers are Brandon Flowers (vocals), Dave Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci (drums).

According to Japanese Vogue, the video for "Don't Shoot Me Santa" was directed, edited, and co-produced by renowned actor/director/visual artist Matthew Gray Gubler (from the cast of Criminal Minds) who is also of native Las Vegas.
