U2 close tour with special guests Green Day and Pearl Jam

Last night, U2 closed their spectacular final show of their 20 month Vertigo World Tourat Honolulu Aloha Stadium with special guests Green Day and Pearl Jam joining them on stage.

Billie Joe Armstrong first joined U2 on stage to debut their joint cover of The SkidsThe Saints Are Coming live at the New Orleans Louisiana Superdome. He joined the band again last night in Hawaii to perform the track for the first time together since the New Orleans benefit show.

Eddie Vedder and guitarist Mike McCready from Pearl Jam then teamed up with U2 to perform a cover of Neil Youngs Rockin In The Free World. During the Vertigo World Tour The Killers, The Arcade Fire, Mary J Blige and Patti Smith have also joined the Irish rockers on stage.
