We Are Fiction EP

Since forming in mid 2007, Peterborough quintet We Are Fiction have been touring the UK, tearing venues apart and honing their raw, unapologetic blend of melodic Post Hardcore / Screamo for the best part of two years. The bands dogged touring efforts and unhinged sound caught the attention of Rising Records but after a brief dalliance the band parted ways with the label making the decision to self-release their new record.

Clocking in at just shy of 21 minutes the EP is an impassioned whirlwind of a record that draws on themes based close to the bands heart, such as their resentment towards the 9-5 regime, family values, and life whilst on the road. Brief though it may be, this record makes it abundantly clear that there is something very special about We Are Fiction.

The band will be doing a series of weekenders throughout November across the UK at select venues to promote the new release. Get down to show and see this band in an intimate venue while you still can!

Band Members:
Phil Barker (Vocals) // Adam Lewis (Guitar & Vocals)
Andi Scott Shaw (Guitar & Vocals) // Ryan Chambers (Bass) // Tom Calton (Drums)
