WATCH VIDEO CLIP Plus a tour has been announced (details below).
Gold Lion is our first taste of new YYYs material - a big and bold, acoustic-riff driven strut with amped-up razor edge guitars care of Nick Zinner, a bad-ass Brian Chase beat and a fever-indusing turn by singer Karen O topped off with swoonsome "ooh oohs".
Show Your Bones was recorded in LA with producer Squeak E. Clean, and mixed in London with Alan Moulder.
"Show Your Bones is what happens when you put your finger in a light socket," says singer Karen O.
"Maybe there is some of that electric current flowing through the tracks of our album illuminating us from the inside out for you to laugh at and cry to or fry to. Or not."
Following their headline appearance at All Tomorrow's Parties (their first UK date since November '04), Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced they will play 5 more UK shows, including 2 nights at The Forum, London.
