Craig David - Spanish

On Monday 28th July Craig David releases his brand new single 'Spanish' - the fourth single to be taken from his platinum selling album 'Slicker than Your Average'.

Written by Craig in a run down studio off Holloway Road in London (whilst imagining how nice it would be to get a holiday!) 'Spanish' follows on from Craig's most recent international hit 'Rise and Fall'

Craig has also cut an official house version with John Riley, a hip-hop version with Tim Blacksmith and a special Panjabi club mix with Rishi Rich, part sung in Panjabi by Craig. Th e extra tracks will be available on various formats of the single.
Craig worked with Rich earlier this year for the Panjabi mix of 'Rise and Fall' which smashed straight into number one urban dance charts whilst simultaneously number one in the official airplay charts. It has taken just three years for Craig David to progress from being Britain's most exciting, talked about new artist to become the UK's ambassador for urban music.

His two, genre-shaping albums are each now multi-million sellers and the 21 year old has toured the world several times over, recently selling out a tour of more intimate UK venues and headlining a prestigious LA radio concert with Christina Aguilera and Nelly.

Later this summer Craig will play the famed Montreux Jazz Festival and in Britain he headlined Capital FM's 'Party In The Park'. Craig also announced last month his forthcoming September 2003 thirteen-date UK tour, all part of his 'Slicker than Your Average' global tour.
Craig David has won awards, broken down barriers and been praised by his idols, and no one has been more astounded at each new achievement than Craig himself. This summer our R'n'B superstar will set your body temperature soaring, as he turns the world of music 'Spanish'.
