Bashy.com

Following such success in the studio Bashy set his sights on conquering the stage, smashing up clubs, student unions and festivals from Milton Keynes to Mali. It was in June to be exact that Bashy alongside, Durty Goodz, Akala, Kele Le Roc and Wanlov travelled to Mali as part the Bigga Fish run Roots 2 Roots project that saw the group team up with some of Africa's most talented musicians to create a tour that moved through both Africa and Europe.

Bashy also hit one of the worlds biggest festivals, the mighty Glastonbury, where he figured as a highlight on the highly regarded BBC Introducing Stage delivering a energy fuled set that had the crowed bouncing in there wellies.

Other live highlights included a legendary performance at this summers Notting Hill Carnival where he tore up the 1XTRA Rampage stage, the set was so revered that for the first time it was featured on BBC Radio 1.

Bashy injects such clarity and humour into his live sets that anyone witnessing him is instantly converted. It was such a performance at the Liverpool 8 festival earlier in the year that drew the attention of Damon Albarn So much so that when putting together the line up for this years African Express he personally asked Bashy to get involved.
