Elan - Together As One

Elan's album Together As One is out now, released on the new Interscope imprint helmed by Tony Kanal (No Doubt).

Elan began singing with The Wailers of Bob Marley fame and was then signed to a label started by Tony Kanal from No Doubt. Now its been made official that Gwen Stefani will be on his album. Elan has made a nice little impact on the California beach music scene ( think Jack Johnson) as well as the reggae roots scene.

The first single from the album is Girl, featuring Assassin, and ELAN has added All Nighter, a duet with Gwen Stefani, to the album.

First single, Girl's sexual motif is driven home brilliantly by ELAN's embracing vocals and interludes from Assassin, a rising MC and DJ star in Jamaica. Currently, main stations in the Virgin Islands/Caribbean have been heavily grasping onto Girl and the album's title track Together As One.

ELAN just wrapped up touring as the opener of UB40's tour in North America. He also just announced a performance at the 23rd Annual Reggae On The River on Saturday, August 5 in Humboldt County, Northern California. A proper support tour for the album after its release in June is also in the works.

Together As One, ELAN's debut long-player, features some of the biggest and best reggae producers in the business.

The notable list includes heavyweights such as Sly and Robbie, Lenky, Fatis and Tony Kelly, to name a few. In addition to also producing most of the songs himself, Tony Kanal is serving as Executive Producer on the project. Other guest performers include Cutty Ranks and Tami Chynn. A single package for the song "Girl" featuring Assassin with tracks "Nothing Is Worth Losing You" and "Together As One" is available in stores and online now.
