Gracious K - Migraine Skank

He's Dizzee Rascal's cousin, went to school with Tinchy Stryder, has had plays from Zane Lowe, Trevor Nelson, Annie Mac, Westwood and Ras Kwame on Radio 1, hit No.1 on the 1Xtra chart, and literally has everyone from England footballer Theo Walcott to Lily Allen, Alan Carr, Kanye West and Ciara doing his dance - he's Gracious K.

With the UK urban music scene in its rudest ever health thanks to everyone from N-Dubz, Dizzee, Tinchy, Estelle, Wiley, T2, Chipmunk and Jay Sean all hitting big, 21 year old Gracious K represents the new generation of talented artists coming through with a fresh outlook on the scene and a completely unique swagger.

Summer '09 has undoubtedly been the season of the skank! With so many different takes on the dance, Gracious K has been the leader of the pack with his highly addictive Migraine Skank. The head-swaying dance swept across the nation's dancefloors and soon became a YouTube phenomenon - notching up 1,800,000 hits by early August thanks to a plethora of fan-made videos (with everyone from groups of school kids, clubbers and Ikea shoppers to even Darth Vader joining the craze!). Also, look out for a hilarious BBC video Gracious K recently made with other stars (including Chris Moyles) for Trevor Nelson's birthday, titled the 'Nelson Skank.'
