KANO Feel Free

Kano - Feel Free

After two years away from the charts Kano has reclaimed his throne as king of street savvy pop with his top 15 album, 'London Town' in September. Now fresh from his sold out UK tour, Kano gets set to release follow up single 'Feel Free'.

As one of the highlights off the new album it was only right that 'Feel Free' was released as the next single. A collaboration with Damon Albarn, this epic dub'n'beats number also stars a kids choir from Kano's old school, where his mum still teaches. During the recording Kano was amazed at Albarn's creative spirit, "He'd play an amazing classical piece on piano then pick up some £2 keyboard for kids and start messing about - which is where a lot of the sounds came from."

As well as performing at this years MOBO awards, Kano was also personally requested by Damon to award him the 'Q Inspiration' award along with Zane Lowe at this years' star-studded ceremony.

Continuing with the unforced pop sensibility that he displayed on debut 'Home Sweet Home' with tracks like 'Nite Nite', 'Feel Free' - with it's infectious hook and feel good message - looks set to be another chart topper from the 22 year old Londoner.

Kano performed at this years Electric Proms at London's Jazz Café on 27 October and featured on BBC 2's new music show 'Sounds' and T4.
