Kevin Michael - It Don’t Make Any Difference To Me (1 Love)

'It Don't Make Any Difference To Me (1 Love)' is the brand new single by Kevin Michael, out now. Produced by Wyclef Jean who brings a Caribbean flavour to the mix, the song shows both the range of Kevin's songwriting abilities and the depth of his pride at who he is.

He sings, "All you gotta do is look at me/Three generations of my family you see/People treat you different/When you're in between/He was black white and she was white/You know that most people thought that it wasn't right/I can still remember what she used to say/It don't make any difference to me…"

The forthcoming single is taken from Kevin Michael's self-titled debut, released through Atlantic Records/Downtown on October 15th. The record showcases an irresistible blend of soul, funk, R&B and pop, conjuring up greats from the past whilst at the same time, adding something totally new.

Label mate Lupe Fiasco features on the album's opener released last month, 'We All Want The Same Thing'. This track serves as both a statement of purpose and roots for the artist who lived in worlds both black and white (he is the child of a black father and a white Italian mother).
