Upon arriving at the Def Jam building in the US last week, Lady Sovereign was wheeled into Jay-Z's office for champagne to celebrate her signing to Island Def Jam Records for the World. This is big news as no other non-American artists are currently on the Def Jam roster in the USA.
She's now working hard with Ad Rock from the Beastie Boys at his SoHo loft studio and will be taking part in this week's SXSW event in Austen before flying to Miami and working with some very, very special producers on the final cut of the album. More on this soon!
Lady Sovereign's next release in the UK will be 'Blah Blah' limited edition EP on April 17th through Island.
