Lady Sovereign Announces US Tour Dates Supporting Gwen Stefani

Lady Sovereign has announced details of her biggest US tour to date supporting Gwen Stefani on her extensive two month arena tour. Sov will play 40 shows to over 600,000 people, culminating in two massive Verizon Wireless dates in Irvine California.

The US tour kicks off on April 27th following Sov's own headline tours of the UK, Australia and Japan. Sov headlines The Scala in London on February 7th and will then announce details of her first full UK tour commencing in April.

2006 was a phenomenally successful year Stateside for Sov including appearances on the David Letterman and Craig Fergusson shows, coverage in Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, L.A. Times and Vogue to name but a few and most impressively becoming the first British artist to be the No.1 most requested video on MTV US. Therein followed unprecedented sales of both her album and single 'Love Me Or Hate Me' by a British female hip hop artist. This year see's the 21 year old from Wembley gearing up to repeat that success over here. Her forthcoming single 'Love Me Or Hate' is released on January 29th followed by the release of her debut album 'Public Warning' on February 5th.
