Amy Winehouse And Dizzee Win At Mobos
Amy Winehouse has won Best Female Artist at the MOBO awards at the O2 arena, where she performed Tears Dry On Their Own and Me And Mr Jones from her Back to Black album.
Dizzee Rascal won the Best Male Award at the MOBOs. Ne-Yo and
Kanye West each won two awards. Kanye took home Best Video and Best Hip Hop act, but did not attend the ceremony (just like his chart rival
50 Cent who'd been due to perform at the MOBOs this year).
Ne-Yo took home the Best Song award for Because Of You and the award for Best R&B Artist.UK hip-hop trio N Dubz received the Best Newcomers prize.
Best International Artist award went to
Rihanna, another no show, while DJ Tim Westwood collected the DJ Of The Year award.
Rihanna, who was not at the show, was best international artist, and the DJ of the year award went to BBC Radio 1's Tim Westwood.

Check out Jamelia on Habbo! hosted the event at the O2 Arena.The BeMOBO Award, went to the London-based From Boyhood to Manhood Foundation, which aims to provide black children with role-models. Kanya King, the CEO of the Mobo Awards, read out the names of all of the children under the age of 16 who had been murdered in the UK this year.
"Guns and knives have killed too many of our young people, especially our boys," she told the hushed audience.
