Rapper/actor/CEO and all-round superstar Nelly, whose 30 million plus combined album/single sales have established the St. Louis native as one of music's most bankable and consistent stars, marks his very welcome return with the release of his single Body On Me. Featuring the myriad talents of Akon and Ashanti, the single follows Nelly's recent smash, Party People, feat. Fergie, and is taken from the 3 time Grammy winner's eagerly awaited 5th album Brass Knuckles.
Nelly launched the new album at a star studded weekend long party in Las Vegas. The exclusive gathering enjoyed the first official playback of the new record, a live concert featuring Nelly, full band and guest appearances from Akon, Jermaine Dupri and Paul Wall, a sun-drenched pool party, VIP bowling contest and finished off with Nelly hosting a surprise birthday party for NBA basketball legend Allen Iverson.
Brass Knuckles is the follow up to Nelly's ground-breaking previous album(s). With the simultaneous release of Sweat and Suit, Nelly became the first solo artist in history to debut at no. 1 (Suit) and 2 (Sweat) in the Billboard chart. The new album features collaborations/productions with among others Snoop Dogg, Akon, Public Enemy's Chuck D, Lil Wayne, T.I., Pharrell Williams, Pollow Da Don and Jermaine Dupri.
