Sean Paul - Ever Blazin

Sean Paul's album, THE TRINITY, which stormed the UK album charts at number 11, is the brilliant follow up to the six-million-plus-selling, Grammy-award-winning, 2002 Atlantic/VP breakthrough album, DUTTY ROCK.

Featuring the finest dancehall and reggae rhythms around, the album boasts and all-star Caribbean cast of guests and producers. Sean has spent three years completing this third album and even though many of the world's biggest names in Hip-Hop wanted to work with him, he proudly says, 'it was all done right here in the third world'. Hence the album title, THE TRINITY - a spiritual concept that signifies a unity of three
in one.

The success of DUTTY ROCK (which followed his debut VP Recordings album, STAGE ONE) includes worldwide sales of more than 6 million copies to date. In the UK, the album is nearing triple-platinum status. It is also certified platinum in Ireland, Canada and Japan whilst in France, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Switzerland, Sweden and South Africa, the album is either Gold or Double-Gold.

Looking back from this moment in 2005, it is easy to forget that just a few years ago, raw uncut Jamaican dancehall was still considered
'underground' music.

However Sean Paul flipped the script with his landmark album and changed the game completely. At the first ever Kiss Awards, which took place a few weekends ago, Sean Paul took home the Award Best Download and Best Male Artist. Sean also recently appeared on Jools Holland's hallmark live music show "Later" last week - eclipsing a variety of other performers including Babyshambles, Texas and Teddy Thompson.page << 1 2 >>
