Prior to his leap from underground to chart topper, I Like Music caught up with the South London rapper way back, around the release of his 2007, 28 track debut mix CD Hood Economics Room 147. We asked Tinie what he looked forward to the most about playing live:

Tinie Tempah : Being in a new Town or City and meeting fans. I am now fully aware that there is a whole world outside London. Like I said previously, I don't make music to meet anyones expectations. So when I enter a packed out venue with hundreds, or even thousands, of people who enjoy my music and are eager to see me live, it really hits home and motivates me to push harder and continue making good music. It's not something that's too rehearsed either. Most of my stuff is spontaneous and off the cuff.
