ILM : Your new album Hood Economics Room 147 is out now. What can we expect from it?
Tinie Tempah : I don't really make music to meet anyones expectations. Hood Economics is something I'd wanted to do for a very long time. It's very personal and I believe it's the easiest way to understand me, as a person and an artist. Which is why it was the first thing I released. The 28 tracks on there are non specific to a particular genre. You'll hear everything from rock to some spoken word kind of stuff. It's exciting, consistent and honest. I feel it is inspiring and educational. Regardless of age, sex, race, religion, height, size or musical preference there are definitely a few tracks on there for you.
