Estelle releases the third single from her critically acclaimed album 'The 18th Day,'on March 28th through V2.
If "1980" introduced the nation to Estelle and her West London roots, and "Free" was a demonstration of her upbeat positivity, then next single "Go Gone" will cement Estelle's reputation as a feisty and determined young singer who is in this for the long run. To any non believers she gives a stinging retort:
"Go Gone" is a Motown-inspired track which she re-recorded with Lenny Kravitz' band on a recent trip to LA.
"With "Go Gone" people will see some of my influences which go way back to classic soul and 60's RandB. I think people will see a new side of me and realize that I am a singer as well as a rapper."
Estelle told us Go Gone was the most fun laying down in the studio because they "recorded it so quick it was silly"
