Monday 20th August marks the release of Jackamo Brown's debut album Oh no. The Drift of the World.
Discovered and signed by Scroobius Pip, the album is the first release through Pip's very own label Speech Development Records.
Weaving delicate acoustic guitar through slow and steady blues, Jackamo's music is a hypnotic blend of gentle folk cut against local field recordings. Alongside a rather intriguing blog Jackamo's Tokonoma, you can find out more about his music in our recent interview, which all started after Scroobius Pip sent us on an adventure... (exciting, huh?)
Today also marks the release of his second music video, Prayer for Slow Death. Directed by Scroobius Pip and shot by Tom Coles the video follows his first video release, When She Comes.
