Part swirling indie psychedelia, part Appalachian folk, Lord Huron's new track Time To Run is an intriguing sonic mongrel.
The band are formed around frontman and founder Ben Schneider, and Time To Run is taken from their new EP, also named Time To Run, which is due out on October 8th. The video was filmed in the baking heat of the Mojave Desert over the course of 22 hours and in temperatures that topped 102 degrees Fahrenheit. Rather them than me. It is based on a novel by George Ranger Johnson, and its hazy retro feel is an apt accompaniment for the song.
